USSA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Our USSA Development Program is structured for the more advanced racer looking to improve and compete on a regular basis in local, national and international competitions.  Coaches begin to help athletes develop long term athlete management plans, create realistic goals and produce measurable results. Racing opportunities include local, regional, national and international FIS/USSA competition. Athletes have the opportunity of a winter only membership or a year-round membership due to the proximity of Mt. Hood, America’s only year-round ski area.

The USSA Development Program starts as early as October and ends May 25th, 2015 (Memorial Day Weekend).  Athletes will participate in club designed Dryland training program, physical testing, on-snow training, video review sessions along with long term athlete management planning.

U12 athletes will compete in Mitey Mite Council races and PNSA Zonal U12 Championships.

U14 athletes will compete in Mitey Mite Council races, Evergreen Cup races and Buddy Werner Championships upon qualification.

U16 athletes will compete in Evergreen Cup races, Northwest Cup races, Western Region qualifiers and Western Region Jr. Championships upon qualification.

FIS athletes will compete in Evergreen Cup races, Northwest Cup races, FIS races and National Championships upon qualification.
